RAVN Process - Under the Hood

Most signal bots and channels are a flash in the pan. They usually last a few weeks - sometimes a few months - before they stop working and the edge disappears.

We’ve successfully used the RAVN tech to trade profitably for 17 months now. Our confidence in its reliability and consistency is a strong reason we decided to finally release it as a public tool.

What makes RAVN work in the long term while other similar tools fail?

The answer lies in our unique processes for data collection and filtering, and extensive backtesting.

RAVN is running 24/7, collecting and logging data on early buyers of practically every single on-chain launch. The data is constantly being updated with performance metrics like all time high, so we can easily see which coins were the most successful.

RANV collects 100+ data points on the dev, top holders and their on-chain behavior to assign them a label. Think of it like Nansen’s on-chain labels, but specific to memcoin trading rather than DeFi.

We look at all the labels in real time, and with dozens of other data points, and see if they pass very specific filters that are associated with high performing launches. If they pass, then the alert is sent to the specific channel.

Here’s a very simple example: Through on-chain sleuthing, we notice that $MEW (which went to $1B ATH) launched with fresh wallets sniping all the supply. And specifically, all the fresh wallets were funded from one of 3 CEXs (ie Kucoin, Binance, OKX).

So we start looking at launches in the past 60 days where early buyers were fresh wallets that were funded from 3 or more different CEXes. Remember, we collect data on every single launch so this is easy for us to do. This would in effect eliminate all the launches where early buyers are not fresh wallets, or are fresh wallets funded from the SAME source (a good chunk of launches).

We see that this specific launch style yields a decent hit rate, but not great. So we add in other data points to filter out the bad launches, while keeping good ones.

Eventually, we end up with a filter that will have a high likelihood of finding this style of launch in real time while weeding out rugs and scams. So if the $MEW team decides to launch a new coin in the same way, there’s a good chance we’d find it early.

It’s no secret in crypto that the same teams launch new coins repeatedly, and teams that have launched successful coins in the past have a higher chance of launching future ones that are successful. RAVN is designed to find these insider plays purely through on-chain data.

Of course, over time a specific launch style starts to lose its edge. This is why most alpha bots and channels have a hot streak, then run cold and eventually die off.

And that's why we proactively review best performing coins every week, studying the launch data, and update our filters to find them early.
